Stock TSX amp built in crossover??

Does anyone know if the 1st gen TSX front door speakers get full range or if it the high frequencies get cut off? I've been searching through some old threads and get conflicting answers.

elduderino from a 2004 thread:

"F door: This speaker seems to receive full range from the OE amp, no high-frequency cutoff, so you can replace this speaker with a “full-range” coaxial-type speaker. I posted pics to Audio."

mercman from a 2007 thread:

"The front door speakers are rolled off (I don’t recall at what frequency) so that the highs don’t interfere with the dash tweeters. The dash tweeters are feed highs only from the front channel HU outputs."

Both members seem to be respected for their knowledge on audio systems, so can anyone chime in on who is right? elduderino's post is 3 years earlier than mercman, so maybe new knowledge was discovered and the front door speaker really is getting a filtered signal?

I tested the amp on the bench. I have lots of test equipment and know how to use it.
