stock amp for tsx.
I had wondered the same, but after looking at the main sticky, https://acurazine.com/forums/audio-video-electronics-navigation-22/%2A%2Aaudio-video-diy-info-faq-all-models-%2A%2A-299065/ some wiring diagrams can be found.

like eldurino mentioned, b7, is the remote turn on. both the h/u, amp and antenna amp share this. removing the stock amp shouldn't be an issue.
read mercman's 'bypassing the amp' in the sticky. balanced outputs should be cared for.
good luck

I did it a few years ago - works just fine. I also ran rockford fosgate speaker wire throughout which was more of a pain in the butt to do. You shouldn't hurt the radio, just gotta run speaker wire back up to the center console. Disclaimer - my navi system did suffer from the tsb issue of the upper clock display going dark, but the dealership didn't hassle me about it and it should not have been possible for the modification to have caused this.
You will disconnect the stock amp (remove the two plugs) to connect the new amp. It is up to you if you want to physically remove it. I have mine out now so I can do some tests, but it is usually in working as a mounting point for one of the front speaker xovers (also so I don’t lose it).
See my post on bypassing the factory amp for the correct wiring and before you decide on an amp (only a few will work correctly with the TSX HU).

I just cut the RCA level pre outs, spliced them into some decent RCA cables and ran them to my trunk = any 4 channel amp should work (assuming you don't mind either losing the 6X9's or adding a subwoofer amp to your setup).
I know the signals to the 6X9's were low frequency only but I can't remember the cutoff - regardless, my type of set up should work for just about any 4 channel amp.

Nevermind, just saw your detailed post. I'm pretty sure my Kenwood amp (10 years old) doesn't have differential inputs. I only get a pop when I have the car off and am listening to the radio then start the car. Alternator whine is only audible at volume levels that I will never use anyway (approximately 2-3). Anyway, nice write up.

One could be built for the car but it is best to go with an amp already equipped with balanced inputs.

an amp's specs should state balanced or not. if balanced inputs are not mentioned, then its likely not a balanced input and is a single ended input.
for example....
read the input description in the link
