Single din install

Well I just purchased an OEM single din MP3 attachment for my 06' non-navi. I'm installing an Alpine single din and was wondering what harness I would need to complete the install.

Are you trying to eliminate the stock radio and just use the Alpine? Are the climate controls built in through the radio like the Accords of that year? If the cliamte controls are built in to the stock radio, you will need a Y harness to keep power going to the stock radio to obatin functionality of the climate controls. I've done the Accords that way but never had to do one in a TSX, but I would assume its the same concept....

Yeah I'm pretty much trying to eliminate the stock head unit and just have the alpine while retaining my climate control.

are you bypassing the stock amp or trying to wire the headunit into it?

if you are going with a an aftermarket headunit might as well replace the whole stock system.

I'm trying to install an aftermarket head unit and eventually the rest.
