Sign of a blown sub woofer

One of my sub woofer stopped working suddenly. It was buzzing from last few days (annoying buzzing at low volume). I have already checked all connections and wires, everything is as it should be. So is it blown or I am missing something??

EDIT: Its 12" Phoenix Gold Octane R sub.

also smell the sub and see if it smells like burnt wiring, you could have fried a voice coil, also make sure that the cone, and dust cap aren't blown

check the flux capacitor also.. any damage to that can make the sub sound horrible..

Visually its fine, no burnt smell and built in LED works fine too. So I think its time to get new ones now. Any recomendations?? Will spend no more then $200 for 2 subs.
