Sa-weet install! I'm gathering my 'Stuff' for my tsx install--and yours has inspired me to think more creatively with mine! Nice, jptl04! Q for you: did you solder and shrink tube the speaker wires? I'm 10 thumbs if I have to solder. Brandnamez.com has the 3sixty.1 for $220 + ship. Poor communications (no email/tracking) but it did arrive. Again, sweet system.

Looks like a good fit and finish. A wide angle pic would help to see the full install. Will the amp overheat enclosed like that?

How did you get the wire to snake thru on the drivers side chassis? Other doors/dash were a breeze. Kuddos on you workmanship!

if you mean the driver side door rybber wire harness cover, i used a wire to snake it through tape the speaker wire to that and pulled it through, i sprayed a little soapy water to help lubricate it ( it's ok the wires are insulated and it will dry) same as the passenger side through that same hole and into the chassis.

jptl- I'm just about to install the 3sixty.1. I understand I'm to cut and splice speaker wire to the LF and RF speakers (no rears) sub, and tap into the remote wire of my OEM amp, running to the 3sixty grounded in the trunk. Which plug (20 or 14) do I access off the OEM amp? Which has the 'out to speakers' ? Thanks! looking forward to the sound improvement!

You don't want the out to the speakers, you want the in to the amp that comes from the HU.

i belive its the 14 plug, thats the one i used in my tl. a + sig and a - sig for 6 speakers =12 then your ground and power =14 pin plug, just make sure you don't mix-up the signals for each speaker, lable each one of them. and i did use the signal AFTER the oem amp, to speakers.

Oh, I believe you... but it would have sounded better if you hadn't. Simpler install too.

As I recall the TL HU has 5 outputs - 4 and a center? They are balanced differential and they are affected by the volume controls on the steering wheel. The only reason to use a 360 or CS in a TL is that those outputs are equalized (unlike the TSX and older TL and CLs).

Just a quick correction on wiring the 'B+' connector to the 3sixty-that I haven't seen posted (even on RFs boards): In the 3sixty manual, perhaps earlier printed editions, it states to use a 'switched' 12volt+ source for the B+ power connector--when you should use a CONSTANT 12v+ source. Eliminate the popping.
