Replacing Headunit Questions

I just purchase a new headunit it is the PIONEER AVH-P5700DVD CD/MP3 6.5" IN-DASH DVD. Will my stock bose speakers work with my head unit? Someone told me that you can only use the bose speakers with the bose factory head unit. Other than the wiring harness and radio car kit do I need anything else to install this? Thanks!

Welcome!

As far as i know, all you need to install the new headunit is the wiring harness. All your speakers should still be functional with the new headunit.

I am sure you will want to replace the speakes soon. That is the weak link in the system. I installed Focal, and JL sub. 100% improvement.
