Sure, why not, if 13 feet is long enough for you. Cables aren't going to make a difference unless they are so cheap that the connectors break, and even then, only after the connector breaks.

i think that 13ft may not be long enough, unless you mount the amp or what not, close to the back seat as possible and run the wire under the carpet of the center console.

I always recommend using stinger wires but that me.

i've had good luck w/both Stinger and Monster Cable, but not the cheap red Monster Cables
