RCA Connector Question

Hey Everyone....i bought that neo mp3 player a while back and installed it using the fm modulator. The sound quality sucks a$$ and i wanted to use the rca plug option. The problem is that the cd player takes up the only rca input in our head unit. The question i have is if it is possible to buy some switch where you can plug in both the rca cables from the cd player and the mp3 player and then have that switch plug into the head unit. That way you can pick either the cd player or the mp3 player to play whenever you want and still have that good sound quality. Is this possible? If not, are there any other options? thanks!

I've been using the sony switch decribed in that thread for 5 years (4 in another car) and it works great.

Only problem you might have is the volume being too low from some sources. If your extra audio source has a headphone out, you should be okay, if not, you might need a line driver.

I also think you could also use a 4pdt relay, like the one used to do the video on navi conversion. I know it would switch the audio source, I'm just not sure about the sound quality. The benefit to this would be it only costs about $14.

Feel free to pm me if you have any questions.

sound quality with the sony switch is crystal clear. Volume is great as you have volume control on the NEO.

Yes you do need the 4 pt switch to as in the navi video mod.
