Quick post of my amp rack and install
Here are a few pics of my install, it still is a work in progress. I have made some serious modifications up and down to my system, and hopefully the changes here are going to be the last ones I make to the audio system. I'm going to try and post multiple pics, but if it doesn't work all the pics are available to view in the following link;

Damn, I can only post one pic in this message, but hopefully this will wet everyones appetite I guess Black doesn't show up all that well, and the only way to get the full affect of the instal is to see it in person

You are right, I cant seem to imagine how the box would go in .. try to post some brighter pics, bro.
Are you gonna leave the box half in, half out like that?

Nice damn setup. How are you doing the EQ install? I have an Eclipse 21010 eq right now, and I will be mounting the same place you have yours. I was going to use the stock plate, and just cut it to fit. How are you doing it. Teh IDQ sub you have is really good. Im sure you get good bass out of it.

Wow i'm surprised of the difference that taking pictures in the sun will do for you Here are some brighter pics of the trunk, with and without the sub.

Without the box, HOT HOT HOT
With the box .
I think you should do something about the box. Leaving it half in, half out like completely messes up your nice amp setup. BTW, what happened to the sub's grill?

:)
Um, the grill had just one too many encounter with stuff I haul around in the trunk. Imagine what would have happened to that wonderful IDQ amp if the grill wasn't there
Yeah I know the setup looks a little screwy right now, unfortunately it's still a work in progress and it's the second time (and hopefully last, but we all know how that works )

Jsuppi : how did you do the vinyl with the plexi window? Is it just vinyl pulled over plywood? If so, how do you hold the plexi to the wood?

Ummm....
Unfortunately I had a proffesional do the install for me, I was just fed up with the amp riding on the back of a board in the trunk. Looked pretty nasty.
