So I'm looking to get a roof rack on my 2012 RDX and it's become such a tedious research process because I'm kind of picky on what I want so here it goes...

I have a bare roof at the moment and I want something I can easily remove but also something that looks flush and clean. I don't really like those clip-on roof racks that have the huge foot pads that go into the door sill and I'm not too fond of bars that stick out passed the foot pads either.

I was wondering how those channel system work and when I was looking at the instructions I say you have to make holes for them. But don't we have mounting spots for the roof rack already under that black trim? Any input is greatly appreciated. Last resort would be the Acura Roof Rack.
