I want to know how many people put in aftermarket speakers in while keeping the head unit. I heard from a friend with a TL that his sounded like crap when he first got his system installed and then he got a pre-amp/eq and he said everything sounded a whole lot better. Let me know what you did.

 

if you want better SQ, you will need to replace the stock amp as well ... even that, the SQ still as not as good as aftermark HU. I know that because I have both stock HU and aftermarket receiver in my car. Hope it helps.
