Problems with Idle after viper 791 install

My car is having some serious problems with idling and I can't find anyone with decent knowledge to fix it. I can only assume that they grounded my fuel injection wire but I do not know which wire it is to check. What do I look for, I don't see any wires leading into the engine bay! Is there a way that they did this w/o going into the engine bay. Would it be smart to have the viper totally disconnected? everything hooked back up?

My problem is at idle, it will fluctuate and dip pretty low. I have had acura check it out, no code. It turned off on me twice? I'm lost...

It sounds like you had a shop install it, and if that's the case, take it back and say you're not leaving till everything works right and you're not paying another dime for it... It sounds like they screwed something up, and they need to fix it...

There should be a purple or purple and white wire running to one of your injectors. Is it idling low when it is remote started or when you use the key?

My alarm is not turned on, I have been starting it via key and not by the remote start. I would do that ie biring my car back but my alarm was installed in cali, and I am currently living in D.C.

My car idles funny when its been running for awhile, and stopped at a stop light or parked after driving. It seems to start off sluggish too. No codes ever, even when it cut off on me.

It's a common problem in the 99-03 TL and 01-03 CL.. If yo have that car maybe it's just a coincidence with the warmer weather that you're noticing it.

oh yeah! I did that too, it was replaced already...I researched and that was my first idea, to clean it. No luck, then I replaced it (dealer).

I now see a wire that is covered by a plastic tube, and zip tied. It goes underneath my aem intake. It goes from the driver side and goes into my engine. It is yellow wire inside! I need to investigate further but this maybe the wire I was looking for...Do I just unhook it and see? or is there something I should do. I have been searching for a possible wire because it possibly grounding out something..I guess this is where they were getting the signal for the viper

I unhooked the yellow wire, it was hooked to one of the ignition coil wires. The front right, and it tapped the wire to the far right. I cut the wire right after it was soldered and wrapped it with electrical tape. It then retraced the yellow wire back into the drivers footwell, and it led to a box with three white plugs. I cut the wire from there and wrapped with electrical tape. I drove my car and still had the same problem. I don't know why they tapped that wire but I unhooked it incase it was grounding it out. Guess that wasn't the problem, but I don't know why they even had it connecting at that place at all. My viper is off and havent tried to turn it on yet.
