Problem w/ Alpine Changer install
I installed a Alpine CHA-S634 to a 1999 stock headend unit using a Peripherial HONIL and a Alpine KCA-M130B. At first, I had a problem getting the stock headend unit to recognize the changer(Set to M-Bus). I disconnected the power to the headend and reconnected and then It recognized the changer and it worked fine.
A couple of days later, the headend displays "EEE" so I switch to radio and then back to the changer. It again is not recognizing the changer and can only use the headend CD player. I then pull the fuse to the headend and now it's back to recognizing the changer.
Anyone else had any issues with adding a changer to a stock system?

I believe something wrong with your converter from Peripherial, I have the same issue before so I return it and order a new one made by blitzsafe and fix all my problem.

I would definitely say it is your adaptor. I was thinking about buying a cheaper adaptor when I bought my S634, but I went with the BS and I'm glad I did. I think some other people on this board have had problems with that adaptor....You might want to check.
