Problem with speaker install!!

I have a 99 3.0 cl and when i baught my car last year, I found out that two of the speakers didn't work because the car was in an accident before. I just recently decided to replace the two speakers. It is the front right door speaker and the front right tweeter. So, anyway, i just got my two replacement speakers, they are both stock bose speakers. I took off the door panel and unhooked the broken speaker and then hooked in the new speaker and tried it out but it didn't work. I baught the speaker off of someone from the cl forums, so i do trust that person, so the speakers themselves do work, but im thinking that the wiring is bad or cut off somewhere or something. Any ideas on what i can do to try to find out the problem and fix it. (I don't know much about speaker install or car electronics.)

please help

thanks
