Pioneer Head Unit in an 06 TSX

I just recently purchased the Pioneer Premier P980BT Headunit. My question is will my handsfreelink bluetooth system still work after i install this head unit? I'm reluctant to install this thing because I don't want to lose the FACTORY bluetooth function that my car came with.

Here's the headunit...

Nice looking unit. The factory HFL will most likely not work with it though. And are you going to mount this in the factory location or in the cubby? Keep in mind the climate controls are integrated into the factory radio.

I intend on installing it in the "cubby" area right below the climate controls. If the factory bluetooth function doesn't work then i won't be installing this thing. ALthough this particular headunit has bluetooth, i'm not willing use the headunit over the factory bluetooth due to the loss of steering wheel controls. I wish there was something that can bypass it. Any other suggestions?

Why don’t you just keep the factory HU and replace the factory amp with something good? The factory HU is an Alpine or Pioneer anyway and the output is flat. If you desire more sound shaping control there are a few equalizers you can use to Taylor your sound.

Yeah i'm leaning more and more towards not installing it and selling it instead. It seems as if I won't be getting what i want with this head unit. Thanks for your help y'all.
