Ok WTH cd player shutting off at high volume

Ok well I had this problem in the past today i hooked up some 6.5's in the door off the hu just cuz im tired of only bass. I turned it up quite a bit and the hu shut its self off. Anyone else have this problem?

Have you tried turning it up without your rca's connected to the sub amp ?
How and when does the hu turn back on?
I had a issue like that a long time ago with a dated hu when I was trying to use all speaker outputs and all rca out puts at the same time.

If I remember right it still does it. the only rca's hooked to a amp is the sub. And before it was the same. It's done this with 3 hu's. I imagine I wont have this problem when I hook up the speakers to the 50.4 amp. But I would like to know why it is doing it anyways

Are they the same speakers used on all 3 HU's causing the issue.

Everytime you wired the hu's the same huh ?
Try rewiring, finding new grounding spots new asserory on wire.
Also you could check the fuses on your power wires (both, red+yellow)your using now.
Your HU's could be looking for more power thats not there to give.

^ If thats the case it could lead to a toasted internal amp if not fixed.
I know you heard of the magic smoke from amps, same thing would apply if thats your issue
