No Pause button on CD changer?

Okay, I've read the user's manual, and hit a lot of buttons in the car, and tried to read most of the posts here!!! Is there no way to pause a CD while it's playing? (other than shutting off the system, or switching to another source?) I have a 2002 CL-S.

I also got used to using the attenuator button on the Kenwood deck I had in my old Integra. That would be a nice function to have also!!!!

I also noticed this recently as I've been looking for a cd player for my friend's Accord. It seems that even a lot of aftermarket cd players don't have a "play/pause" button.

Really? What if you hit the play button again as it's playing. Have to test that out today.

Of course there's a pause!!!!!

It's the on/off button. When you turn it off and turn it back on, it starts up at the same location!!!

Yep....that's what I've been doing. But I figure it can't be as good for the unit as a pause button is (especially with the reports of the Acura cd player problems, disc removal problems, etc)

Well, the pause button does keep the CD spinning. Perhaps, with the RESUME function when turn on/off, it retains the spot, it prevents wasteful spinning of the CD and, maybe it simultaneously conserves power and motor that way?

Just a thought!
