Need str8 answer on wire to tap for Escort8500
I've never gotten a straight answer from anyone on any board on which wire exactly to tap into as switched power source for hardwiring a radar detector. I have an Accord V6, but should be similiar. I just need a picture showing which wire. I do not want to use the "squeeze wire in with fuse" method because the hardwire kit for Escort 8500 comes with a squeeze tap clip. I already know where to ground and how to route the wires.
Basically I need to know (on the driver's side fuse relay panel):
- wire color (I know this yellow/black for accessory socket relay)
- which socket/big plug is this wire on?
- which cavity (little holes on big plug) is this wire on for that particular socket
- Is it on the side facing the door? Or on the side facing the driver's footwell?

Pop the bottom of the dash off (which you might not even need to do)....locate the harness coming out of the steering column (this is the ignition harness), strip back the black sheath, and tap the black wire with the yellow stripe.
