i am currently running 2 10" mtx with mtx amp.
Boss. 550 watts each speakers in the back and 2 infinity reference speakers in the front.

I want to run a 4 channel amp to my speakers any suggestions?

And add two more 10" mtxs in the back and another amp

Adding a battery will only give you more play time while your car is turned off....if you need more current because of the increased load with the added amp then i would suggest upgrading the electrical system with a high farad Capacitor and upgraded alternator.Additional batteries also increase the load on your alternator and please use the right cable sizes for feeding your equipement.

Yea, if your planning on adding multiple amps and want to make sure you are supplying these amps sufficiently then the first thing i would do is buy a HO alternator. And make sure you are using proper sized cables as these can act as restrictors.

or just buy a 5 channel amp.. They have a very efficient class D sub amplifier built in, draws very little power. And the infinity reference are pretty efficient speakers so you don't need a whole lot of juice to power them..

with time when you get tired of the system you have right now you are going to get the extra battery and the bigger alternator and a few caps not just the single farad is it just me or do we just get used to our systems too quick and we need louder and louder systems?
