modulator for XM?

I seem to remember some posts about a product that was available that would not cause a step down in quality of sound when hooking a XM tuner unit into our stock head unit. Any one remember this product? Cost? Thx, I did a quick search and can't find info needed.

I'm not sure about into the stock hu, but i got one that turns the FM mod. into RCA. So you don't use the FM instead u plug the RCA into your AUX input in the HU. But that's if you have an aftermarket HU. Not sure about stock..sorry....might what to check out cruthfield, that's where i got mine.

Goodluck

Contact Ron "Streeteffectz" and get the blitz adaptor from him. It plugs into the back of your headunit and provides and two RCA's for an aux input. Once it is installed you just press the CD button twice to get the aux. input. All of the volume and bass/trebble functions will still work on the headunit! Absolute best way to go!

RE: XM Radio

Does the Blitz adapter fit the OEM Bose Head Unit?

I would like to add XM or Sirius to my factory radio but not if I have to use the FM modulator.

Any ideas?

For like $250 for you pick up a new head unti that is alredy XM capabale. This will be a much better unti than tha stock one, and will save space in your car b/c you will not need a seperate piece of equipment for XM tuner. Plus a new HU will be much better all around than the stock one.

Just my $0.02,
Evan

We have adapters for hooking up both an XM unit (pioneer OR alpine) to factory headunit, or auxiliary input with or without a cd changer. More info by calling 732-388-7000 or email info@streeteffectz.com
