i have a kenwood headunit KDC-MP342U, i have all the wires hooked up correctly according to the manual but it will only play through my subs and not any of the in car speakers. if anybody has any idea what in the world is going on.. it be much appreciated.

p.s its going into a 1998 Acura CL 3.0

 

U have the stock bose right?

 

i dont have the stock radio but stock bose speakers

 

Well there is your problem bose is 2 ohm . U need to do some searching it will show u why it's not working

 

Nope you can make any Radio work with the Speakers, the Thing is that you cannot connect the leads directly to the stereo Outputs; Those go to the EQ and thats your problem maybe your trying to jump into the EQ leads instead of the Speaker Ones. Ill try to post the electric diagram later..

Me myself had a Afmk Stereo with the original BOSEs sounded like crap but worse is nothing.

there's an extra blue wire from the wiring harness.
wire that with your remote wire for your amp
