How do I hook up the stock base with my aftermarket head unit? I just got the Sony MEX-BT2700 and have 2000 TL

Yes, I did it just very recently. Use the Metra wiring harness and make sure you connect the remote on / amp on line from your new HU's harness to the Metra harness. The other thing you need to do is pull the GREEN plug from the EQ which sits behind the climate controls and access the two wires you need to send a signal to the Bose Amp & Sub.

This POST has pictures of the EQ, the GREEN plug and the wires you need to tap.

Hey, so i cant figure this out!

I connected the center conductor from the RCA cable to the blue wire with the green stripe. The shield from the RCA cable connects to the orange wire with the blue stripe. Then i connected the RCA to my aftermarket HU. The sub still doesnt work. I dont think im getting power to it. I tried connecting the remaining wires together but nothing is working out. Can anyone help me?
