HEY I HAVE A GUY THAT WANTS TO SELL ME HIS ALPINE IVA-D300 IN DASH TV DVD CD PLAYER FOR $800 CASH ITS IN PERFECT CONDITION. HE JUST WANTS TO GET RID OF IT.

Now on the other hand theres a guy at an audio shop nearby that has the Brand new IVA-D310 and he said he'll sell it to me for $1200, now that is a great price, especially comming from a store, but i dont know which one i should buy, i've heard that there is not much difference between the tw0 the d310 is just newer and has a few more features.

Personally I'd buy the cheaper one, since like you said there aren't many differences, just a couple different features, but if you can afford to drop $1200 on it, do it

 

I really cant afford to just waste money. but im asking because some of you TL, CL ers may know if its worth it or not, so if its not worth it ill just leave it alone, if it is ill spend the extra $400

 

I'd go with the D300. I don't have one personally, but I hear that the 300 is the best HU alpine made. I was going to get the 900, but I heard it was mad slow. I hear nothing but good things about the 300. Hope that helps.

what about WARRANTY?....what happens if you drop the 800 and it shits the bed?....does that one still have some warranty left on it?...if so, save the dough....if not, you may want to invest the extra 400 and get some peace of mind, this stuff is crazy tech and shit happens!.....just my .....good luck.....g

i have the d310 and i think it's better than the d300, but that's just my opinion cuz i love the digital display when the unit is in its closed position.

that's one of the main differences that made it for me.
