infinity basslink vs avincar rear speakers

I want to add more bass to my CL type s and I'm curious as to which of these would offer more and better bass, the Inifnity basslink or eldurino's rear speaker upgrade?

I don't think it's fair to compare a 6x9 with a subwoofer. They're two different animals.

I got the Avincar upgrades. I wanted more bass which was cleaner and had a little lower reach. I also was looking for more clarity in the tweets. This choice was best for me because I chose to keep the stock HU and amp and liked the easy "drop-in" install.

If you're wanting quite a bit more bass with a lower reach, then definately go with a subwoofer.

well i read goduckscls's review and he said that his 6x9s were pushing out more bass then his infinity basslink but I wanted to see what others had to say about that.

Don't know about that. The speaker upgrades still use the stock amp. The BassLink has it's own 200W amp.
I have the basslink & been happy with it in 3 CL's.

I was there, I heard it

If I HADN'T heard it, I would be expressing skepticism. I would not think that 2 6x9s, no matter what, should equal a powered sub.

But after hearing this one, I have to say, I think the Basslink is a ripoff.

I'll take your word for it as I would like to not lose any trunk space. Could you please clear your pm box so we can discuss purchasing speakers please. thanks.

You don't loose much trunk space. I can still put several large suitcases in my trunk & then some.
I never heard the speakers so I can't say much about them, however a correctly setup/tuned basslink sounds good.

And it's only like $60-$70 more then the speakers.

I guess it's possible that his Basslink was bad... but I have a hard time deciding I just didn't know how to dial it

It IS conceivable that it was not hooked up right - it was done before it got to us.
