How to remove not an ashtray?

I did a search but the link to the intructions is not longer there. I removed the upper cd tray and saw 2 screws. I remove the 2 screws but I believe there is 2 more, how do I remove those and where are they located?

^^ You have to remove the cover over the cup holder/transmission area. It's held on by like 8 clips. Once you remove that, you will see 2 more screws on the NOT an Ashtray.

The removal of that cover is a real PITA. You have to take it *really* slow and steady. I recommend starting from the back - pop out the rear two clips first by using some (covered with a rag) object through the hole for the parking brake. Push up with steady pressure. Once the rear clips are off, move your way forward. The frontmost clips are the hardest. Do not try to pull up on the area around the shifter - that's just a bezel that's attached to the big piece you're trying to remove.

It's a real bitch, but after the first time, it becomes easier.

thanks for the info will that that out. One more thing maybe you guys can help me out. I got a SNHOND3 adapater, I read on the section to install that but it says u don't need to remove the headunit. I tried putting my hands in there but there only a little gap. Is the connector on the left or right of the unit. What is the best way to hook up the connector without removing the headunit. Thanks in advance.

The connector is on the bottom of the HU, NOT on the back or sides.. Use a CD as a mirror and look up underneath. You'll see the plug, it's an easy install.

Great!!! This has really been helpfull, thanks. Also do you guys know of any opening in the engine bay to the interior of the car? I'm trying to hook up some wires to the battery and run them to the trunk. I've never looked into this before in the TSX, any info on this would be greatly appreciated.

Yep, look on the driver side footwell, up to the far left, behind the fuse box. There's a rubber gourmet there.

Do a search or check in the FAQ section for the TSX. All of this is covered.
