How do i simply install a Bass boosting system?

i've been scouring the internet for info on my 2002 CL's wiring diagram and how to get my system up and running. i bought a LOC from best buy a while back but my uncle (the manager of the store) said the LOC won't give me the right signal, apparently Bose uses 3ohm signals which arent compatible with what i've got, can i change out the stereo amplifier? if so, what works in its place?

line out converter makes it so u can hook a amp to a factory system. It takes the speaker wire and converts them into rca's.

I used a LOC. works perfectly I spliced it into the wires for the stock sub. Every shop seems to think adding anything to the bose system is impossible. in reality its basically the same.

Works perfect in the TL's but there's no stock sub in the 2G CL's so you can run one if you want and the bass will be linked to one of the reg. speakers lol
I bought my car this way. When you Fade it all the way to the back and Balance it to the left the bass kicks but if u balance it to the right it cuts off lol Gotta luv the ghetto geniuses

How many wires from the LOC did you use to connect to the stock sub ? Which wire from the head unit do you use for the remote wire ? I hooked mine up but the smoke came out from my sub, i disconnected it just in time, open the amp out, some how it collected humidity heavily. I have to get some eletronic leaner or something to clean it this weekend, and try it again.
