Question How do I install flat wire to my fusebox for radar detector?

I bought a flat wire and wondered if I could do this without ripping apart my dash or how I go about routing the wire from my fuse to the bottom of the windshield...

It's a bel 989 or something so the wire is thick and the end is like a phone line ending.

I ran mine down the a pillar into the fuse box. First get an add a fuse from the auto parts store. I plugged mine into the sunroof fuse so it cuts off with the ignition. You can pull the a pillar trim off by tugging gently but firmly. It is held inplace with clips. I wedged one end between the head liner and the mirror and then ran the slack down the exposed pillar

hope this helps

Question

So you have your detector around your rearview mirror?

I'm just worried about those suction cups coming loose and that damn thing dropping all the way onto my gear shift or something like that.
