Question Where to install lcd's

Hey everyone... I have a TL-S w/Nav and I want to know where people installed their tv's. I want one in the back somewhere. I am getting ready to hook up the nav with tv mod, and i thought i ought to put in another tv somewhere in for the back seat... any suggestions...?

You could do one flip down in the middle where the dome light is, OR, you could do two like we did here:

Ok, that looks good... I like that.

What about removing the dome light and putting one there? would there be any wiring issues with that?

Nope, no wiring issues putting it in the middle, we have done plenty of those too, I just don't have any pics online of it.

flip down in center...

hey if we do the flip down screen like how you (street effects) had two in the back but rather we had one that replaced the dome lights, sunglass case, garage opener, etc... would the sound come out of the lcd piece? or is there a way to hook up the sound to the rest of the bose system that comes with the tl? hope you understand my question... THANKS!

Yes, the sound can play through the factory system, AND, if you get the right model screen, it will have a built in wireless transmitter for wireless headphones too

I don't have any pics of that single unit in the middle on line. It looks just like they do in that picture, just in place of the dome light instead and the dome lights in the flipdown are hooked up.

A complete system (by Icon-TV) including a 7" widescreen flipdown, DVD player, and 2 pairs of wireless headphones usually runs about $999.99 + tax, installed

How large are you thinking about going? I figure 8 inches is what I want for the visors and the same for any flip down that I'd put in the back.

No, bigger is cool, just not too big. I do the Icon 9" widescreen (EXACT same screen as the JVC 9" widescreen) all the time.
