hissing/staticy noise

i just got my eclipse headunit last week and i've noticed a faint hissing/staticy noise when the radio or cd player is on. at first i thought that the headunit wasn't ground to the chassis, but after taking it back to the place i had it installed they told me that it's because i have it hooked up to my factory bose amp and speakers. i was wondering if anyone else has heard of this problem? is there any way to fix it w/o buying a new amp and speakers?

Did you install it or did the shop install it?

Did you also hook up a amp and sub?

Is the headunit brand new?

There are many many people on this forum that have aftermarket headunits hooked up to the factory amp and speakers without any issues..

If you wanted to replace the speakers you'd have some issues come up but in No way should you have Any issues with a brand new aftermarket headunit.
