The Blue part that illuminates seems as if its burnt out!!! wtf??? any ideas?

what happens when you change the colors? Is it just the blue thats out?

 

some of the other colors work, but its like a certain color is burnt out...

 

I have the same HU. During the day, if you choose any color other than blue for the main buttons (the 4 big ones on the left), then it looks dim because I believe the buttons are tinted blue somehow. At night, any color shows up fine. If yours is dim like that during the night too, then you might wanna hit up Alpine and see what they say.
