CL: Headunit Install Questions
Installing an Appradio 3 in my '03 CL and have a couple questions to clear up.
Where is the easiest place to tap for the reverse sensor for the backup camera? Needs a wire that changes voltage when the car is put in reverse. I know I could run it back to the reverse lights but ideally it would be something much closer to the dash.
Do I really have to do all the stuff in this thread to keep the factory subwoofers working or is there an easier way? The headunit doesn't have a subwoofer out (just 4x RCAs) so it doesn't appear I can even do it the way shown in this thread anyways.

You should tap in one of the Cables on the Gear shift.. BUT! That's a very specific wire your asking for and many of us just are lazy enough to tap the Reverse lights in the trunk and run a simple wire... I did it that way been working now for around 3-4 years with no issues.
And yes if you want to keep the OEM sub for an Aftermarket Unit you need to do those steps.
