Head Unit Connector Question '99 CL3.0
Head Unit Connector Question '99 CL3.0
I'd like to add a CD changer to the OEM Bose Head Unit, mainly to maintain use of the steering wheel controls. I'm told that the Bose unit I have is actually a Panasonic; See:

So, what kind of CD changer will mate with this connector:

Is this a standard MBUS plug? It doesn't appear to fit the MBUS connectors I've tried. Is there an adapter for this unit?
Failing that, what kind of after-market head unit and CD changer could be installed in it's place that could still use the steering wheel controls and stock speakers? Or is that a pipe dream?
Thanks,
-Mark
