what kind of box should i get?
u gotta tell me if this would bump or not cuz im new with this, and ne suggestions and if i would need a power cap

 

those are good subs... but your going to need to upgrade your interior speakers w/ an amp on those also...

are you more into sound quality or really heavy pressure bass.

if you have really good speakers for quailty, the bass will be there also.

 

hum...pretty good sound with pretty good bass i guess

 

honostly, the audiobahn are not the best (or close) for good sound quailty. audiobahn subs are foremost designed for SPL pressure BASS. one the best audiobahn subs designed as far as SQ is the ALUM12Q. really good sub.

 

would a 500x2 watt rms push that sub hard...or it can be 700x2 in 2 ohms...they are 1000 rms

 

the aw1200q is 700wrms. they are dual 4 ohm and so you would play them at 2ohm per channel. should be fine.

 

could that much blow the subs?

 

no, that amp is not going to blow them, unless you turn the volume on the headunit louder than it can go and all you hear is distortion.

yeah they are on e bay, but im gettin my deck for like 200 bucks off from a website...thats a good deal
