Post Focal stereo equipment!

Anybody have any of this equipment in their ride? It's supposed to be some pretty hi-fi($$) stuff! Just wanna hear from some people that have dealt with it first hand.

I don't have them in my car, but I have sold plenty of them, and have heard them in BMW's, Expeditions, Accords..... AWESOME speakers! Very crisp, very clear... good overall range.

Cool

Focals are amazing. If you have the cash to drop and you love your music buy them. They are cleaner and clearer then Diamond, MB Quartz and Boston Acoustics. But they are very expensive. For me the CD Technologies are fine. They ar still cleaner and clearer then MB Quartz, Boston Acoustics and Diamond...Also have a look at Dynaudio stuff it's also very good.

Hey Haha98,

What's the hierarchy that you would place as far as speakers go? Focal, Diamond, CD Tech, Dynaudio. I've looked at the Focal, and talked with a guy and he seems to think they are pretty much, if not, the best! (If you're worried about advertising or what not on the forum just leave me a message, I would like to hear your thoughts)

Yup, I agree. The focals do kick some major azz, but the CD technologies are amazing in themselves, and are not as expensive as the focals.

For tonal accuracy, I've yet to hear ANY car speaker compare to the Focals. Boston makes an awesome speaker at a fairly reasonable price. MB Quart speakers are extremely loud and very durable. Diamond has one of the best staffs to work with and their speakers are very nice. Dynaudio is awesome equipment, just not quite as nice as Focals. CD is a solid speaker, just nothing outstanding compared to the rest of the group. Just as a Civic is an awesome car, its just not a NSX, Viper, or anything in that league. CD is a good group of people (remember Cliff Designs) but the 'sound in a box' for the leased car does not translate to high end audio.
