Dom's Video Converter

I just got my unit yesterday. Has any install theres yet? I no how to install it, but i just want to get some ideas from people now. Where will be the best place for the unit? If I put it in the trunk, then I have to run a longer wire for my toggle switch and get a 12 ft video rca. but access behind the navi unit is easy. If I put it under the dash or in the glove box, I dont have to run long wires. Just hate to tap the wires by the screen. Then Im going to have to run longer wires to the back when or if I get a back up camera. But how do I get to those wires thats by the screen? Through the passenger side or driver side. Any suggestions? Thankz.

So far everyone has put it in the trunk.. I have mine under my passenger seat though extending back into the trunk..

Where are you planning on mounting the dvd player ? Are you using a power inverter to power it ?

Don't get too far ahead of yourself.. It will only confuse you more..

lol. im going to have a head unit dvd player. and im going to get the mp3 player kit so i can put my dvd player right there. easy access to everything. and a lot cleaner look. just want to no if its hard to get to the wires behind the screen. if i put it in the front, i can hide my unit there instead of showing it in the back. i decided im just going to cut the wires. getting a headache searching for that 20 pin connector.

What did you use to extend it to the back? Another DB9 wire or just any wire thats the same size. that sounds like a good idea.

Well I have the PnP harness and it reaches for me, from backseat to back of Navi.. I was more or less suggesting to extend them.. You should be able to find one at your local radio shack or Home Depot possibly..
