TO bypass bose
TO bypass bose
I got my components speakers installed in the front and rear yesterday and right now they are being power off the factory bose unit. On friday they are hookin the amp up for the components. Now I hear like a hishing noise at really low volumes. Will that go away when they install stinger line out converters in the front and the rear. ITs a really good LOC and the audio place said they can adjust it for the perfect sound. I will be keeping my factroy deck. Has anyone had this problem before? The hissing isnt really that bad either (I am just really paranoid about little stuff). What is the difference gonna be from bypassin the bose eq. and using LOC in the front and the rear?
I cannot speak alot of about bypassing the EQ but do a search on usernames IGGY and Soundbound in this secion and,\ you will find tons of discussions about bypassing the EQ. These two guys gave beat the EQ to death !!!
Cheers !!!

Drcookie that midbass woofer you installed how long did it take you. I am thinking about doing that. I will have one ALpine 12 wit 400 watts rms going to it do you think the midbass woofer will be a help or I will I not even hear the difference.
Hey dnd2984,
Like I told some members here , compare to the stock sub, it makes a big difference but it will not hit as hard as the sub in a sealed box. The good thing is, it does not take as much space as putting a sub box in the trunk.
randomwalk101 has done the install and he seems to like it.
For me it took me about a day to get everything done. The toughest part is wiring the amp and tapping the low input line. The rest are pretty straight forward. I did it slowly since it's my new car and I have to becareful on every single move.
Cheers !!!
