Looking for Stock Replacement Sub '07 TL

I need your help peeps! I just realized my current 07 TL s doesn't have the stock 8inch sub. My first question is does the stock sub compare to the bose setup in the 03 Type s? If so, I'm wondering if I should just go out and purchase a stock replacement. I'm looking for some bass but nothing to crazy. If the stock sub isn't great I found a Pioneer 8inch TS-SW2002D2 that's a shallow mount 2-Ohm and a Kicker 8in Comp C. My goal is to improve my bass but I don't want to have to cut or seal anything. Looking to just drop and play. Most likely will need to run a separate 200-300 Watt amp. Any opinions on these setups?

Pretty much everyone has had the same idea and ended up putting a box in the trunk or some other type install. The rear deck is fairly prone to rattles but with enough effort you could make it work. The worst rattles are caused by the rear deck cover rattling against the rear window. An easy fix with something soft to put between the two. That should take care of most of the rattling. Good luck.

from what i read before i did my audio upgrade, it's very very limited to plug and play for the oem sub location. i went with a sealed compartment in the trunk.

i'm also selling my oem sub if you just want to replace it with oem.
