BOSE LOC for stock head unti?

I'm fairly new to the forums. I want to install 1 4x100W amp to 1 sub and 2 components speakers. I've read that I need to buy a LOC if I want to keep the stock head unit in order to get the RCA outs that I desire. I have 2 questions...

1. Can someone recommend a good quality LOC (brand and model number)?

2. Where can I buy it in the bay area, CA area? I live in San Jose. Or can someone recommend a URL I can go to to purchase it.

Thanks.

I bought a high to low level converter for like $15 . You put it to any speaker in the car and it gives you a line level(RCA) signal. I put it to my sub signal because it was the easiest and it was only 6 inches away from my system. I am happy with how it turned out. Oh yeah dont get the ****ty radio shack one, it blows and i took it back the next day and went to a real audio store.

Spend the money and get the Monster Cable converter. Really worth the money...it will give you a much cleaner signal out of your head unit. If I am not mistaken, they retail for around $70-$100.

Hi Stylin Silver Sled. Thanks for the suggestion.

Do you know if the Monster Cable Converter is the converter that I can put next to the head unit? The reason is, if I'm going to buy an amp, I don't see the reason why the Bose amps should still be running, like with the Audio Link Line Level Converter.

Does anyone have suggestions on a converter that connects to the head unit without the Bose amps? Thanks!

Lightbulb Got mine from StreetEffectz for about $30!

Email ron@streeteffectz.com. I bought a P.I.E. brand 4-channel LOC. You need the kind with speaker-level inputs and RCA outs so you can splice you eight Bose spkr wires to the LOC.
