Bluetooth..

I know this topic has been covered many times (I've read all the searched threads) - however, none really answer the questions asked.

Namely, does an aftermarket bluetooth system exist today that would seamlessly integrate with the TSX AUDIO / NAVI controller? I don't mean some chintzy Ericsson or Nokia car kit, with mics all over the place, wires, and assy speakers. Or crap that you plug into your ear. I mean a nice solution, like in the TL.

Please help.

This is the best one I found:

But again, why bother with ANOTHER lcd display and more knobs, instead of using the TSX NAVI screen? Sheesh.

bumping this one up...

Does anybody make a bluetooth product that I could connect to the factory speakers using a SHOND03 type AUX adapter? I think that would be the best way to simulate the factory-installed type Bluetooth in the TL. The only downfall is that you would have to switch to AUX whenever you used your phone, but that would also serve as a way to mute your stereo

Is there a "bluetooth" headunit on the market?

There is no aftermarket BT HU on the market TODAY.

On Jan 6 at CES in LV, I expect one or more to be introduced. No knowledge, just my best guess.

I would think that the best way to simulate the BT operation in the TL would be to use the cellmute input pin (discussed in other threads) and hijack one speaker (using two relays).

Gosh, maybe an OEM amp interface should have one of these inputs...: )

I think I'm posting in a bunch of those threads that are mentioned above.

I have the Pioneer Avic-N1. My bluetooth carset mute wire is hooked up to that. The deck does not display the caller ID info though. I think this is what people are looking for. Something similar to the functionality of the TL bluetooth kit.

My kit does work really well for me though. When I receive or place a call it mutes my radio. I can also do voice dialing which is pretty cool.
