After a lots of research looks like this may be the first TL W/Nav that the head unit has been upgraded. All factory options still work great Heat, Nav, Bluetooth..

Kenwood DNX7100
Diamond HEX (fronts)
Earthquake 900W.5
1 Earthquake 10"SWS
2 Earthquake 8"SWS (soon to be changed to 2 10's)
rearfill to come!!!!

^^ Wow, that is a really clean install. I would like to know how you framed the double din dash unit so well. What material did you use to fill in the negative space?

I'm mostly interested in how he integrated the Factory Bluetooth & Navigation Voice with the use of the Kenwood DNX7100... (Wiring details)

Does the Kenwood DNX7100 have a mute and automatic aux input feature????

Let us know... Thanks...

how it was done!!!

YES I KNOW.... I can figure out how to add an aftermarket stereo to a TL and have everything work. And I cannot figure out how to add photos to this site!!!!

The factory radio was relocated to the trunk under the sub box. A wire harness had to be made for the factory Molex.

The rest of the car was rewired for the upgraded stereo and amp.

The center channel is now used for the nav and Bluetooth. I had to take the left front speaker output and made a jumper over to the center channel for the bluetooth to work. All works great and flawless!!!!!

Dash kit

MDF was used for the dash kit. no mute on the kenwood to take out the stereo when a call comes in. Kenwood makes a bluetooth piece just never got like the factory one alot.
