Guys,
I have a JBL 1200.1 amp....I used to have 2 12" Infinity Perfect subs that were blown out because of this amp ( or me just turning it up too loud when I had my conv't)

Anyways, anyone else have this amp? If so, what kinda subs do you have this amp powering?

personally I'm starting to like Rockford more and more.
only thing that's ticking me off about Eclipse is there dealers are spread out(In my area)(i gotta drive 1.5 or 2 hours each way if you need service) and plus I've blown 2 front Eclipse speakers.
so if i was you I'd go with 2 15 inch Rockford DVCs.
Rockfords will thump like a mother.

yes, it's actually a VERY popular combination.

 

I was thinking of using a JBL 1200 to power two 12" Perfects also, but it now seems that this isn't highly recommendable since you blew the Perfects already. What other subs would be a good match for this amp that are comparably priced to the Perfects...and list prices if possible? How much are the IDMAXs? I'm assuming quite a bit more than the Perfects.
