Here are some pics of my Alpine EQ that I took in my garage, in the dark, with my Sprint phone. Quality may not be great, but it's just an example. It looks perfect in person:

It's not the smallest phone you can buy, but it has the most features of any phone that I have ever used. I have relatives in different cities, and it's very easy to send pics.

I had to do a little cutting and I also painted the front of the Alpine EQ to match the sunglasses holder. It looks like it was meant to be there. It looks totally stock when its closed.

Thanx for all the replies folks. That EQ looks tight! Is there a passthrough behind the sunglass holder to feed the cables or did you have to make one?

What model EQ is that? What other components do you have in your system? Any other pics?
Thanks,

That eq is an Alpine ERAG320(I think). It's pretty old, and usually easy to find on eBAY. The wires were easy to run behind the holder. Once you take the holder down, you will see what I mean. My system consists of:
-Stock head unit
-Navi/video conversion
-Boston acoustic pro separates in all doors
-Alumapro BP-10 sub box
-Autotek 5 channel amp
-Alpine ERAG320 eq
-Blaupunkt DVD/MP3 player
-Dynomat throughout

Where do you hide the EQ brain unit ? Under passenger seat or in the Trunk ?
Do you have any engine noise when you turn up the volume ?
My EQ is Alpine 3342 have the same like your ERA 320.

The eq brain is under the passenger seat. There is no engine noise at any volume.

I'm running an apex unit up in the sunglasses holder but I still don't see where you run the wires. Where the sunglasses holder connects to (it’s the black piece directly above the movable part) is all solid (no holes, except for the two screw holes) my question is did you have to cut a hole into this piece to feed the wires into the headliner? And how big of a hole did you have to cut in order to free up the wires so your EQ can move from the closed to open positions freely?

I had to cut a hole just big enough for the eq plug to feed through(about the size of a dime). After the eq is mounted you can't see the hole. I just left some slack for the holder to open/close freely.
