Best iPod/iPhone integration for 99 TL non-nav
I can't find succinct information here on iPod/iPhone integration for a 1999 TL stock radio with no nav. I just sold my 2006 MINI Cooper S and had pretty decent integration with the Harman Kardon deck. No FAQ or DIY on this car that I can find. I know there are kits from Blitzsafe, iSimple and others, but would like to know which one has the most functionality and reliability. I'd like to have basic control of the iPod/iPhone songs, playlists using the steering wheel buttons.
Anyone seen a table of manufacturers, model numbers, features, source vendors, prices regarding this?
I've searched and searched but can't come to an intelligent decision yet.
Thanks a ton.

I have a USA Spec iPod interface and it works great. 129 dollars and easy to install. Here is a link to the DIY section (just above this thread) it lists all the available adapters for you. https://acurazine.com/forums/audio-video-electronics-navigation-22/%2A%2Aaudio-video-diy-info-faq-all-models-%2A%2A-299065/

The thread you refer to has a list of ipod integration adapters and a section on DIY for the TL series. I click on the USASpec link in the list of adapters and that takes me to their web site, where the model finder doesn't go back to 1999 Acura TL. Going back to the DIY section, the TL specific list says nothing about the best options for iPod integration.
Did you install the PA11-HON part from USASpec and was anything else required for installation (cables, Acura specific plug, etc.)?
much thanks.

I just picked up a pioneer appradio from bestbuy for a steal...they're pretty much sold out at every store but there's a few left floating if you can find one in your area. If you haven't heard of it it's awesome for iphone users...6.1" touchscreen basically pulls the iphone interface over you can listen to all your music, use your navigation, look through your photos, use pandora, etc. all from the dash. Only thing is you better really like your iphone, because if you ever switch to android you pretty much have a really fancy fm radio.

Same question as "Perks99TL" - I don't see any Acura TL model before year 2004. I have 2002 TL-S w/t NAVI. I am looking for Aux input for Iphone 4.
If you please mention the model number that you have been using for your Acura 01TL.
I'd appreciate your answer.
