Best Head-Unit?

What, in your opinion is the best HeadUnit? Best Money/Value relationship.... one thing that I need is the headunit needs to be able to play MP3-CD's.... That included, what is the best headunit?

i'll go with alpine as well, if ur looking for best value/best headunt along with mp3s. If your lookin for the best HU, i'll go with denon z1 or r1 (don't remember the model), but very rare in the states. and of course best hu.

I have a clarion ( best in my opinion ) for sale that plays mp3's and has a music catcher - allows you to rip songs off of cds and store them in the h/u for later use. anyway pm me if your interested, ill sell for about 300 details of h/u

I've never had any problem with the ones ive had, neither has any of the ppl i know that have them. They are more rare than the freakin dime a dozen alpines and they have great features often more than alpine and others. They also have better displays and have a more ergonomic design, at least the ones ive seen.

I would say the new Eclipse CD8454. I wish I would have waited because my Eclipse doesn't play MP3s. This year's model does and also has a Memory Stick slot.

Alpine headunits are prob some of the ugliest out there. I have them in the CL and in my Pathfinder. Both are being run with Digi Eq's. Nothing can beat the sound quality.

Hobo: D9 ownzz!!!
No screen has a clearer display. I'm had clarion and Pioneer. They blow, but you pay for what you get. D9 is loot, lucky for me our friend Lou hooked me up.

Well depends on if u want multimedia or pure sound quality.

Alpine makes some phenomenal screens. Pioneer has good value.

As far as sound quality...I recently got a chance to hear a $1500 clarion pure audiophile cd player powered with the Soundstream DaVinci amp, diamond components...it was freaking phenomanal.
