Beef up the Bass

Beef up the Bass
I have a 2002 Acura TL S Type and I needed to know how I can increase the bass in my car. The car comes with a 9" subwoofer and 6.3" (yes it's weird) speakers made by Bose. The problem is that the car's trunk is so well insolated that a box or tube just don't do the job. If you have any suggestions please let me know.

The trunk is not insulated at all.
Except for the molded plastic trunk lining the only thing seperating you from the trunk is the 6" of foam in the rear seatback. There are three small patches of sound-deadening material applied to the trunk floor (painted over w/ body color) - under the spare tire and in front of the right-side toolbox and left-side storage bin.
I put Dynamat throughout the trunk (floor, walls and decklid) and have a 10" bandpass sub with the port directly underneath the empty 9" sub hole (sub grill is filled with foam now).
Lots of members have single and multiple subs installed in their trunks - some w/o removing the old sub. I don't know the exact terminology - but subwoofer sound is non-directional so it can be hidden away and still have quite an effect.

AcuraTL, I bet your 10s hit hard. I had two Polk db 12s in my Accord, and am soooo tempted to put them in my TLS. I have an MTX 300x2 amp that provides plenty of power to make them push so much air. Now if I can just find someone to tell me how to hook them up to my factory Bose deck...
