def interested in this, only I can't even begin to think about fucking around with a 2k dollar stereo's harddrive, just for a background....But I am loving the z1 so far..

 

You dont have to mess around with the hard drive....you can just import the background images from a cd-r. But they only problem i have is that i am too lazy to create any and dont really feel like messing around with the resolution to have the pictures fit the screen perfectly. Thats why i posted this thread. So hopefully someone can help the both of us out.

thought i'd chime in here, im buying the z1 and self installing, along with the pac ps for steering wheel control, the xm module for the navtec traffic, the sirius for all the content and programming, the blue tooth adapter for the treo 650 handsfree, and finally the ipod adapter.

Im also self installing the matrix rsx 3.5 alarm using the 555 h transponder. *still have to give up a key since i heard the 556 doesnt work with acuras.*

What's the Z1's native resolution? I'll make a couple when i get home.

Also for that other guy (ICSTYLE): the 556HW works for the 2.5Gen TL

1. Download "Jerry's PIMMGR" HERE: http://www.avic411.com/forum/download.php?id=6

2. Make the image you want at 500x240 resolution using a image editor of some kind. Import it into PIMMGR and save it as a .PIM.
