Avic N1

Anyone know where is the comp chip located in the 2001 Cl. i am about to get the Pioneer Avic N1. and i need to find out where is the comp chip. i would like to know wut everyone think about the Pioneer Avic N1. is it as good as it seems and is it worth its price ($1300)

Computer chip? Do you mean the ecu? why?

I don't know becuase I got mine installed. but the unit is definately worth the money. you can damn near run everything through the unit. if you have a problem keeping the nav cd around you can get a disc changer hooked up to it. but other than that the unit is great.

i installed it in my dad's benz. and even without connecting the wires for speed, the meters still worked. i love it. only problem. in cities like NY, where there a million streets, the thing is realllly slow and its not accurate at all. anothing thing. i dont like how loud the motor is. a dvd changer is def needed option. its a pain in the ass after awhile to keep switching

Just take to a place to get intalled, thats wht i did i got mine done for 1400 Installed

The unit was 1200+200(custom dash-kit install)
