anyone hooked an ipod or anyother MP3 up to the stock headunit?
wanted to know if you have to trick the H/U into thinking that there is cd changer or tape deck, and how do you do it. or if you just plug it into the DIN it will automatically recognize an audio signal. any help or links to people who have done this would be appreciated.
either go with a FM modulator or do a Sony Switch. both allow for an auxillary input. The switch will give better quality but the modulator is easier to hook up and will allow you to use your headunit's volume controls.
FM modulators are out of the questions, terrible sound quality
what is a sony switch exactly what does it do and how much does it cost and where can i find it?
anyone else try hooking up through the changer input in the h/u? trying to learn all i can. thanks

Aux Input Option
I've got a Honda/Clarion CD changer adaptor with auxilary inputs. When you flip a switch and ground a wire from the adaptor, it pauses the cd changer and allows you to use the aux. input. It works on my 2003 TL-s and has both the round plug and square molex, depending on what radio you have. I'm selling it cause I decided to go aftermarket. I've got the adaptor and 12disc clarion changer. E-mail me if you're interested. Asking $170
