Sorry if this is the wrong forum. If so, please point me in the right direction. And I did due-diligence in searching threads first. I'm a nooby, so I'm trying to stay within the rules!

I would really like a high quality, very effective radar detector that is cordless, battery powered and able to clip onto my visor.

Here's the deal: I need it quick, don't want to waste time wiring it in, I don't speed when I'm commuting, so I would only use it for when I'm 'sport touring' or cruising for fun through twisties where I will apply the throttle. Batteries aren't really a concern as I get them free anyway.

I just want the convenience of going out and buying something I can clip onto my visor with no hassle.

Oh, one last thing for everyone that will tell me to get one wired in - I work in the ghetto and I've had two window blatantly bashed in for crack heads to steal radar detectors. Anything that looks even remotely like it could be a radar mount will make me a target, can't do that!

So am I dreaming the impossible dream? Is there a decent cordless radar detector out there I can go buy tomorrow and start using? If so, please let me know because I'm jonesing to go for a serious ride tomorrow in my new (to me) '04 TL which I've had for a total of eight days now!!
