ok guys since i'm gonna be a nice brother and give one of my 12inch JL W3's to my sister (i have two), i was just wondering which amp would you guys recogmend. i'm leaning towards the rockford fosgates cause i was planning on getting the 800.2 power series to power both of the subs. But now that i'm down to one, i'm not sure which one to get. thanks for the input.

 

I have a JL 500/1 running a pair of 12W3's and it hits pretty nice. But I still think Phoenix Gold has some of the nicest amps. BTW want to send me a pix of your sister? jk

 

Tantrum (by Phoenix Gold) has a 500.2.

 

JL 12W3 run on JL 250/1 amp, pretty satisfied with it.

 

Hey I though I was the only nice brother. I Installed a nice little clean system in my lil-sisters RSX. Just one 10 Fosgate He2.

Fosgate amps are awesome. In my TL I just got the Power550S to power my L5 and Power 550X to power my mids and highs. ITs gonna be screaming....

Do not overlook the MTX subs amps. I have a 6500d putting a tested 600+ watts into a single 10" L7 @ 2 ohms.

 

Had a 500/1 kicking hard on a self built sealed enclosure 10w6v2.
Key word is Had...
